As Vice
President and Regional Manager of the LIUNA
Northwest Region, I am proud to be entrusted with
the preservation of the interest of the Union
Laborers’ who live and work in our region. I believe in promoting and securing safe worksites,
good benefits, and better wages for all workers and
after dedicating my working life to representing
workers, I know what it takes to do the job.
The Northwest Region is the largest
geo- graphical region in the Laborers’ International
Union. We represent over 40,000 working people of
many different ages and in many different
occupations. For example, we represent
workers in construction, hazardous waste
remediation, health care, education,
maintenance, food service, clerical,
aviation, and state and local governments.
Our Region has thirty-six (36) local
unions, five (5) district councils, and
thirteen (13) dedicated training facilities
that offer training topics ranging from
short duration job site health and safety
classes to intense full-fledged, hands-on
skills training.
Please take some time and
explore the many different facets and
projects we have listed on this web site.
Contact us if you
think you need union representation. Contact
us if you want to explore becoming Union
Laborer. And equally important, contact us
if you wish to learn how you can profit by
using the world’s best trained, safest, and
most productive workers.
Sincerely,
Mano Frey
Vice President
Regional Manager
